June 6, 2018: Daly Seven, Inc. is proud to announce that two hotel staff members took home top honors at the Visit Lake Norman annual “Making Waves” Hospitality Awards. These awards are designed to honor employees in the Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville hotel industry.
Silvia Blanco, Executive Housekeeper, Hampton Inn Charlotte Lake Norman, took home the ‘Outshines from the Frontlines’ Award. Silvia has worked at the hotel since 1995. Her General Manager, Alicia Fisher, describes her as the heart and soul of the hotel. “She knows each room like the back of her hand. Silvia puts her heart into her job each and every day.”
John Lynch, General Manager, Hampton Inn & Suites Huntersville, took home the coveted ‘Lead to Succeed Award’. ” Shocked is an understatement on how I feel winning this award,” says John. ” It is very humbling to discover my counterparts in the Region believe I deserve to represent them as the Leading General Manager for the Lake Norman Market. As I tell them, I am truly Blessed to have a Team that makes it happen.”
